Basant Lahore is a curated travel experience built around one of South Asia's most vivid spring celebrations. Each March, the skies above Lahore's Walled City fill with colour as the city marks Basant — a centuries-old festival of kites, rooftops, music, and feasting. Our single, all-inclusive offering is a one-week journey, running 9 to 15 March, designed so that international travellers can arrive and simply let Lahore do the rest.
This site exists to showcase that journey and to accept booking requests from travellers around the world. Every detail — where you sleep, how you travel, what you taste, and how you meet the city — is curated by a dedicated local host. From boutique heritage accommodation in the heart of the old city to guided walks through the bazaars, culinary sessions with local families, and hosted rooftop gatherings, the week is built for guests who want an unhurried, authentic encounter with Lahore during its most atmospheric season.
Basant Lahore is built and operated by a small team of Lahore-based hosts, craftspeople, and storytellers who have spent years introducing international visitors to the city's rooftops, kitchens, and lanes. We are not a large operator; we take a limited number of guests each season so that every journey can be personal. The festival itself falls on 12 to 14 March, and our week is shaped around it — with the understanding that rooftop access and specific festival activities remain subject to official permissions, and that a rich cultural itinerary is always provided as the alternative.
